Holistic Healing

REIKI

The word “Reiki” itself means “universal life energy”. This subtle energy flows through all living beings, and by gently placing hands on or near the body, it can help clear blockages, promote relaxation, and encourage the body’s natural healing processes.

It is a holistic practice, often used to reduce stress, ease pain, and foster a sense of deep calm. It is non-invasive, safe, and can be practised alongside conventional medical care.

Many people find that regular Reiki sessions help them connect more deeply with themselves, fostering balance and well-being on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level.

Ten years ago, I was introduced to Reiki, and it has since become a profoundly transformative part of my life, opening me to a deeper sense of connection, healing, and inner peace.

SOUND HEALING

Sound healing is an ancient practise that used the power of sound frequencies to promote relaxation, balance and healing. I use singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks and a wave-maker to produce specific vibrations that interact with the body and mind. These sound waves help reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and even shift brainwave patterns into states of deep relaxation or meditation.

Many people report a sense of emotional release, improved sleep and even relief from physical pain. By aligning with certain frequencies, sound healing can help bring the body and mind into a state of harmony, fostering overall well-being.

BREATHWORK

By using specific patterns of inhalation, exhalation and pauses, breathwork can help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and bring awareness to the present moment. Many different styles exist-from simple slow breathing to more dynamic patterns.

The effects of breathwork ripple through the mind, body and spirit. Physically it can lower blood pressure, improve oxygen flow and release tension held in the body. Mentally, it helps quiet the mind, increase focus and process emotions.

Spiritually, it deepens self-awareness, creating a bridge to inner peace and a greater sense of connection with oneself.
